Community Audition Policy

DSU Theatre encourages community involvement and welcomes the public to audition for musicals only, unless otherwise advertised. In the case that community members do audition, it is the obligation of the Department and Institution to provide the foremost opportunities (i.e. major roles, production assignments) to students who are registered and enrolled as a student at the time of casting. Roles for individuals who are not registered and enrolled students are not guaranteed and will most likely be secondary characters or chorus cast member roles. Those who enroll, audition, are cast and then withdraw from school at any time during the semesters of production, may be replaced.

We appreciate the ongoing support and the enthusiasm of our community members. We hope to see you again soon!
